Every regular GST-registered business files GSTR-1 (sales) and GSTR-3B (summary and tax payment) — monthly, or quarterly under the QRMP scheme if turnover is up to ₹5 crore.
| Return | Monthly due date | Quarterly (QRMP) |
|---|---|---|
| GSTR-1 | 11th of next month | 13th after the quarter (IFF optional for B2B) |
| GSTR-3B | 20th of next month | 22nd or 24th after the quarter, by State |
| Tax payment (QRMP) | — | PMT-06 by the 25th for the first two months |
Late fee: ₹50 per day for GSTR-3B (₹20 per day for nil returns), within caps based on turnover, plus 18% interest on late tax. Returns cannot be filed once three years have passed from their due date, so pending returns should be cleared quickly.
Since GST 2.0 took effect on 22 September 2025, most goods and services are taxed at 5% or 18%, with 40% for luxury and sin goods. We apply the right rates and claim only the input tax credit shown in your GSTR-2B.

Questions, answered
What are the GST return due dates?
GSTR-1 by the 11th and GSTR-3B by the 20th of the next month for monthly filers. QRMP filers file GSTR-1 by the 13th and GSTR-3B by the 22nd or 24th after the quarter.
Should I choose monthly or quarterly filing?
If your turnover is up to ₹5 crore, QRMP means fewer returns, though tax is still paid monthly. Businesses with many B2B buyers often prefer monthly filing so buyers get credit faster.
What if I have no sales this month?
You still file a nil return. Nil returns can be filed by SMS, and the late fee is lower, but missing them still attracts a fee.
I have not filed returns for months. Can you help?
Yes. We file pending returns with late fees and interest worked out first. Returns older than three years can no longer be filed, so act quickly.
Does the price include GSTR-9?
No. The annual return GSTR-9 is a separate service, if your turnover requires it.
