An AD (Authorised Dealer) Code is a 14-digit code issued by your bank, which is authorised to deal in foreign exchange. Exporters must register this code with Indian Customs for every port they export from.
Without AD Code registration, customs will not generate a shipping bill, and export incentives and GST refunds on exports cannot be credited to your account.
What you need first: an active IEC, a current account with an AD bank, and an ICEGATE registration.
We get the AD Code letter from your bank, register it on ICEGATE for the ports you use, and link it to your IEC so your first shipment is not held up.
